Voice control any light for a few bucks

You can add voice control to any lightbulb – without the need for WiFi, bluetooth or any app.

This voice controlled lamp holder can be screwed into a ceiling fixture, standing lamp, bedside lamp or any other E27 receptacle and allows you to turn the light on or off using voice commands.

If you install a tri-color bulb, this voice controlled lampholder can also change the color for you. These type of bulbs typically change color by requiring the user to switch off and on the power quickly.

On the box, it is claimed that these adapters support any bulb up to 100W – so potentially you could use a CFL or even incandescent bulb. Although Iโ€™ve only tested it with LED bulbs – which I assume most people are using nowadays.
