How to set up smart lights (LED with wifi, on apps, and more)

LEDs come in all sorts of varieties nowadays, but most connect over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Zigbee. In this video, I’m going to show you how easy it is to install the Wi-Fi Wyze bulb, the Bluetooth C by GE bulb and the Zigbee Philips Hue bulb.

  1. Hello I saw your video, I want to install these all over my house and now I have ideas for more uses ! Thanks for the info on these different type of brands. Keep up the good work and please keep making more videos on different Products ! Thanks again !

  2. I need an answer please. It seems the bulb will only work with ONE cellphone? If I put them on my phone then set up on husband’s phone, my phone then shows no devices. Why can’t it work on two phones? More than one person live in some households. LOL

  3. I prefer the WYZE bulbs as they are wifi enabled, no hub except for the wifi router. And I like the cost of the WYZE best out of these 3 smart lights. And Iike how the WYZE bulbs can function with Alexa and Google assistant. But, I also like that I can just use my smart phone to function the WYZE lights.

  4. Better tell me how to connect them without wifi. I only have optical onternet cables no wifi router and only my phone which is never connected to wifi cause I always have unlimited mobile data

  5. Keep up the great work!!! I really think that you deserve more views. Did you ever look into using SMZeus . c o m? You should use it, it will help you get the views that you deserve.

  6. ⁉️Ḧ̤Ë̤L̤̈L̤̈Ö̤! I know this video is years old; however, the reason I came to watch it was because I’m actually having the exact problem you mentioned at the end of your video. I have different bulbs, a humidifier, refrigerator, etc… and I was wondering if there’s any solution to having 10 different apps on my phone that’s literally driving me crazy! A new lamp just arrived today, and I’m at the point where I’m not even downloading the app at the moment for this beautiful lamp that I’ve been waiting for so long because I’m a chemo patient and I can’t deal with the stress of it all.
Can you suggest anything that can help me please; and if so, would you mind sharing it in a very easy to understand way, as I have chemo brain 🧠 (yep!, it’s a real thing 😅), and I get confused with this technical jargon stuff 😂.
I greatly appreciate your help, in advance, if you’re able to answer; however, if not, thank you for your video that you shared with us!
    Blessings 🕊️

  7. I want a smart light bulb on my enclosed porch. Although, I don’t want to deal with a bridge. I have a table lamp, that controlled by a smart light switch, that uses Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The biggest pain with any smart device, is when you change the Wi-Fi name and password. I had gotten a new Router and they gave me a temporary username called setup. So, I wanted to personalize it and I had to change all my smart devices in my house. Today’s smart homes have a lot of smart devices.

  8. A question: I have 2 pantry lights controlled by the same switch. I am having trouble adding both bulbs. When I try to add the second bulb, the first bulb goes off line. Any Suggestions? I bougth Aisirer bulbs and am connecting to Alexa

  9. easy to set up hahahaha. biggest joke ive ever heard!!! they should be called stupid lights not smart lights! they arnt smart at all! try brands like laser and Genio and then tell me how easy it is to set up. go through the bs iv been through with laser and genio! constant time outs and telling me my 2g wifi password is wrong when its 100 %not wrong because i triple checked over and over again and even got in to my router settings and checked! says they connect through bluetooth yet they still try to go through your wifi even if u choose the bluetooth option! thats not using bluetooth to connect! my smart lights refuse to connect! my wifi and internet and bluetooth. my wifi pasword isnt the problem! but yet they are insisting if it does not work for any reason other than faulty, then its ur wifi problem or your problem. and these ones i have dont have that switch on and of 3 times to make it blink. ur standing there forever on off on off ect until it does blink or it blows! these globs also get really hot and should be considerd a fire hazerd!!!!! there only led lights!!!! they should not be getting that hot! im aussie and if anyone is having the same difficultys leave a thumbs up on my comment and also comment below thank you!

  10. Thank you so much. The instructions that came with the globe did not help me and watching your video made it super simple, and yes my globe is now working. Thank you

  11. I was struggling to setup this on my phone since 3 days but your video helped me to do that in 5 mins .. thankyou soo. Much
